Law Hired

Real Estate practice operations

Real Estate software built around the dates, records and paperwork of the work

A real estate file is a contract whose effective date starts every contingency, a title commitment with its exceptions, and a closing that has to reconcile to the trust ledger. A tenancy file is a lease, a rent ledger and notices that may demand only what the ledger shows. The workspace carries both.

Dates it keeps for you

Each of these is counted from a date your team types, placed in the matter calendar, and confirmed by the responsible attorney.

01

Contract periods from the effective date

Each deadline is calculated from the contract’s terms and calendared; each disposition is proved by its notice.

02

Section 1031 exchange

The identification and exchange periods are on the chain; the gain is recorded.

03

After closing

The post-closing checklist is built from the settlement statement with its dates on the chain.

04

Eviction and notices

A notice demands only what the ledger shows, and the eviction’s answer and later dates are on the chain.

05

Security-deposit return

The return deadline is calculated and calendared with the deduction calculation.

What the matter holds

Typed records, not a narrative note: each fact is entered once and every calculation, form and document reads from it.

01

The property

Situs, parcel, legal description and class, typed 1:1 with the property record.

02

Title commitment

Each Schedule B item with its disposition and its proof.

03

Prorations and transfer taxes

Recorded calculations; the law is reference data by state, county and city.

04

The settlement statement

A versioned record reconciled to the trust ledger.

05

The tenancy and rent ledger

Premises, term, rent and charges held to the state’s limits.

Prepared for you

Forms are the agency’s own PDF, filled from the record. Documents are prepared from the same rows for the attorney to edit.

The workspace, step by step

The order a matter moves through the real estate workspace.

  1. Property
  2. Contract and contingencies
  3. Title
  4. Prorations and taxes
  5. Settlement statement
  6. Exchange
  7. Closing
  8. Tenancy
  9. Notices and eviction
  10. Deposit

What it does not do

  • Transfer-tax and proration law is reference data by jurisdiction an attorney verifies before use.
  • Official forms are filled from editions staff have uploaded.

How the legal content here is checked

This page describes the software; no attorney is named as its reviewer, so none is shown. Behind the real estate workspace, each deadline rule, limitation period and legal figure is stored with its citation and is recorded as verified only once a named attorney has confirmed it, with that attorney's name and the date; showing that record beside every rule on screen is still in progress. The coverage page counts how many are verified, by practice area and state.

What you can hold us to

Law Hired is practice software, not a law firm or legal-advice service

Every date and figure is counted from what the firm enters and verified by the responsible attorney

Law that changes is reference data with its citation, checked by an attorney before it is relied on

Availability is described separately from production verification

Questions firms ask

Does it track contract contingencies?

Yes. Each is calculated from the contract’s effective date and terms and calendared, and each disposition is proved by its notice.

Can it reconcile the closing to the trust ledger?

Yes. The settlement statement is a versioned record reconciled against the trust ledger.

Does it support landlord-tenant work?

Yes. A tenancy has its own rent ledger, notices, eviction dates and security-deposit accounting.

Does it do transfer taxes?

As recorded calculations from reference data by state, county and city, reviewed by the attorney.

Does Law Hired give real estate legal advice?

No. Law Hired is practice software. It records, calculates and prepares from what the firm enters, and the responsible attorney verifies every date, figure and document before anyone relies on it.
