Law Hired

Law Hired

Mediation / Arbitration practice operations

Mediation / Arbitration software built around the dates, records and paperwork of the work

ADR files are decided by agreements and by who the neutral is. The workspace holds the clause, the neutral’s disclosures, the sessions and the settlement terms, and counts the short windows that follow an award.

Dates it keeps for you

Each of these is counted from a date your team types, placed in the matter calendar, and confirmed by the responsible attorney.

01

Award challenges

The windows to confirm, vacate or modify under the Federal Arbitration Act run from the award and are calendared.

02

Session and exchange dates

Each session and each pre-session exchange is dated.

03

Settlement payments

Each instalment of an agreed settlement is a row with its due date and amount, and a missed payment shows on the calendar.

04

Neutral disclosures

A disclosure triggers a response date to object.

What the matter holds

Typed records, not a narrative note: each fact is entered once and every calculation, form and document reads from it.

01

Neutrals and disclosures

Each neutral, their disclosures and the parties’ responses.

02

The agreement

The arbitration clause or submission, the rules it selects, the seat and the number of arbitrators, typed once and used by the matter.

03

Sessions

Each session or hearing day, who attended and what was decided or exchanged, so the procedural history is complete.

04

Settlement terms

Obligations, payment schedule and a default calculation.

05

Awards

Each interim or final award, its date and its terms, linked to the dates in which it may be confirmed or challenged.

Prepared for you

Forms are the agency’s own PDF, filled from the record. Documents are prepared from the same rows for the attorney to edit.

The workspace, step by step

The order a matter moves through the mediation / arbitration workspace.

  1. Agreement
  2. Neutral
  3. Sessions
  4. Settlement
  5. Payments
  6. Award

What it does not do

  • Forum rules differ; the platform follows the clause and rules entered for each matter.
  • Default amounts are calculated from the schedule entered.

How the legal content here is checked

This page describes the software; no attorney is named as its reviewer, so none is shown. Behind the mediation / arbitration workspace, each deadline rule, limitation period and legal figure is stored with its citation and is recorded as verified only once a named attorney has confirmed it, with that attorney's name and the date; showing that record beside every rule on screen is still in progress. The coverage page counts how many are verified, by practice area and state.

What you can hold us to

Law Hired is practice software, not a law firm or legal-advice service

Every date and figure is counted from what the firm enters and verified by the responsible attorney

Law that changes is reference data with its citation, checked by an attorney before it is relied on

Availability is described separately from production verification

Questions firms ask

Does it track the award challenge windows?

Yes. The windows to confirm, vacate or modify are counted from the date the award is received, under the rule recorded, for the attorney to confirm.

Can it hold a payment plan?

Yes. A settlement that is paid over time is held as dated instalments, each marked paid or overdue against the calendar.

Does it record disclosures?

Each neutral’s disclosures and the parties’ responses are rows.

Does Law Hired give mediation / arbitration legal advice?

No. Law Hired is practice software. It records, calculates and prepares from what the firm enters, and the responsible attorney verifies every date, figure and document before anyone relies on it.
