Animal / Veterinary Law software built around the dates, records and paperwork of the work
Animal and veterinary matters hinge on a single event, a bite, a treatment, a death, and on records that belong to someone else. The workspace keeps the animal, the owner, the incident and the demand together and counts the limitation and hearing dates from the facts you enter.
Dates it keeps for you
Each of these is counted from a date your team types, placed in the matter calendar, and confirmed by the responsible attorney.
Records requests and demands
A records request or demand carries its response date, so a clinic that has not answered is visible on the calendar.
Limitation and merit-certificate dates
Limitation periods and any pre-suit certificate requirement are counted from the incident date entered.
Quarantine, necropsy and reporting
Observation periods and reporting dates after a bite or death run from the incident and are tracked as dates.
Licensing-board hearings
A board complaint starts its response and hearing dates, which join the same chain.
What the matter holds
Typed records, not a narrative note: each fact is entered once and every calculation, form and document reads from it.
The animal and the owner
Description, species, microchip and the ownership history that decides who may bring a claim.
Treatment records and consents
What was done, by whom, and the signed consent for each procedure.
Incidents
Bite, quarantine, necropsy and microchip events, each dated and linked to the animal.
Demands and responses
Each demand sent or received, its basis and the answer.
Prepared for you
Forms are the agency’s own PDF, filled from the record. Documents are prepared from the same rows for the attorney to edit.
The workspace, step by step
The order a matter moves through the animal / veterinary law workspace.
- Animal and owner
- Treatment and consent
- Incident
- Records
- Demand
- Board or court
What it does not do
- Local ordinances and board rules are reference data an attorney verifies.
- The platform records a valuation or expert opinion you attach; it does not value an animal.
How the legal content here is checked
This page describes the software; no attorney is named as its reviewer, so none is shown. Behind the animal / veterinary law workspace, each deadline rule, limitation period and legal figure is stored with its citation and is recorded as verified only once a named attorney has confirmed it, with that attorney's name and the date; showing that record beside every rule on screen is still in progress. The coverage page counts how many are verified, by practice area and state.
What you can hold us to
Law Hired is practice software, not a law firm or legal-advice service
Every date and figure is counted from what the firm enters and verified by the responsible attorney
Law that changes is reference data with its citation, checked by an attorney before it is relied on
Availability is described separately from production verification
Questions firms ask
Does it track the limitation period for a veterinary claim?
The period is counted from the incident date you enter under the rule recorded for the state, and the attorney confirms it.
Can it keep the treatment record and consent forms together?
Yes. Each procedure is a row with the consent that covers it, so a missing consent is visible before a demand goes out.
Does it help with a licensing-board hearing?
It holds the complaint, the response and hearing dates and the exhibits. Strategy remains with the attorney.
Does Law Hired give animal / veterinary law legal advice?
No. Law Hired is practice software. It records, calculates and prepares from what the firm enters, and the responsible attorney verifies every date, figure and document before anyone relies on it.
